Voluntary Arts Network Project

AiR has been contracted by the York and North Yorkshire Voluntary Arts Partnership to deliver a one-year project, from May 2008, to provide practical help and support for voluntary arts organisations in North Yorkshire and York. This will include establishing a network and website, running training and development events, providing newsletters and best-practice information, and organising a celebratory conference.

Possibly the most exciting and important part of this project is the new website -www.celebratenorthyorkshire.org - has just been launched. The website has been designed so that voluntary arts organisations, groups and societies can upload their own information, as well as have access and links to events, information, resources, case studies, examples of best practice, a directory of other groups operating in York & North Yorkshire.

The project is funded by North Yorkshire County Council , the City of York Council and the National Lottery, through Arts Council England.

Just The Ticket Events

This new company is being set up by AiR to provide high-quality concerts, shows and entertainment in and around our area, at indoor venues of 150+ seats, as well as at outdoor sites. The company will also be able to provide event services and expertise to other promoters and event organisers for both indoor and outdoor events.
